ColumbiaSoft Aims To Build Customers’ Success With Document Management In Naming Douglas Reichard To New Business Development Role

Building relationships with customers and partners is key to the software company’s goal of helping firms build on their success with electronic document management.

Portland, Ore. – April 27, 2010 – ColumbiaSoft has named 15-year veteran sales and business development specialist Douglas Reichard to a newly-created business development position charged with strengthening relationships with customers and partners.

“We’re pleased that Doug has joined our team, and confident that with his expertise and consultative approach he’ll engage interest in the wide-ranging document management solutions we have to offer,” commented ColumbiaSoft executive vice president, David Pogue. “His work will be instrumental in helping our customers visualize new ways that Document Locator can benefit their company.”

As Business Development Manager, Reichard’s primary responsibilities will be fostering closer relationships with existing and new customers to develop expanded use of the company’s Document Locator document management software.

Companies use ColumbiaSoft’s document management system for everything from compliance and quality control, to knowledge management, to business process automation. The system includes tools for document workflow, records management, search, imaging, email, and more.

Reichard brings more than fifteen years of project management, management consulting, and software implementation experience to ColumbiaSoft. His prior work includes that of Strategic Management Consultant at KMS Consultants; Regional Sales Manager at Michael Weinig, Inc.; Western Regional Manager at The Minister Machine Company; and Branch Manager for Hallidie Machinery Company.
