The day-to-day charge
- Architecting and designing web client and mobile based solutions for our state-of-the-art document management system.
- Coding business objects and graphical user interfaces using Visual Studio .NET for web client and mobile based applications.
- Advanced database programming using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 through 2008.
Cutting-edge programming using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and MVC, and developing SQL Server database queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and jobs. - Working closely with others on the Engineering Team including developers, QA engineers, support engineers, professional services engineers and product management.
- Participating in developing and enforcing best-practice software development lifecycle processes.
- Being a key contributor in a dynamic organization where employee efforts and contributions are recognized throughout the organization.
Who we think will fit the role
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer developing Microsoft web-based applications utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio with C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and MVC.
- 3+ years of experience developing complex SQL Server database queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and jobs.
- 3+ years of experience with the .NET framework class library, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, ADO.NET, Web/WCF Services.
- Ability to multi-task on date-sensitive projects, effectively analyze and solve problems, communicate, and collaborate as a team player.
Huge pride in work with an ambition to provide QA with as little to be concerned with as possible. - An ease of communication, especially in limited circumstances when speaking with end-users, partners, or others who may not be as technology proficient.
- A desire to live and work in the Great Northwest city of Portland, Oregon.
- Experience with software deployment best practices and source code control.
- A Computer Sciences or related Bachelor degree or equivalent.
