Primary responsibilities are to grow existing accounts and develop new software sales. All efforts are to help promote and sell ColumbiaSoft’s software products and services.
Handle phone calls, develop an independent channel of prospects, respond to leads from Marketing, and directly manage existing accounts. The method of solution-oriented software sales and services including understanding of cross selling and upselling among existing accounts will be used. All activities are required to be accurately documented in ColumbiaSoft’s CRM system.
Develop business relationships and necessary expertise to be a trusted advisor among clients. During conversations, probe customers for business requirements and establish a vision for solving business problems with document management solutions.
Maintain sales quota. Develop a sales pipeline that will support sales goals. Develop a great understanding of our document management system. Professionally inter face with potential and existing customers through verbal and written communications. Prepare required sales quotes and close with prospects.
Proven track record of understanding business models with expertise in at least one industry vertical. Candidate must have familiarity with the enterprise buying cycle. College degree preferred and demonstrated “street smarts”. Show proof of demonstrating the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Continue to monitor competitors and market conditions. At a minimum, have a basic understanding of document management systems.
