Document Locator Training

Document Locator’s deep integration with Windows Explorer and Microsoft Office makes learning to use the software easy; users are already familiar with the standard tree, folder, and file structure that are at the heart of Document Locator’s design. Consider attending a ColumbiaSoft training event to learn about advanced topics such as creating dynamic Profiles and Properties, or understanding ways to implement multiple repositories.

To help users better understand and leverage their investments in Document Locator, ColumbiaSoft offers a 3-day training class in our corporate training facility.

Training curriculum covers product functionality, usability, configuration, and systems administration. The training program is designed to follow a set curriculum that engages the attendees with both lecture as well as a series of hands-on assignments and review exercises.

Based on the topics being covered, you might feel inclined to send your network administrators, but we believe people with moderate understanding of basic computing environments will do quite well. Since this user may be called upon to train others to use Document Locator, you will want to consider who is most appropriate to share the knowledge they gain in our training program with your staff.

Training classes are offered in our Portland headquarters or at your local facilities. Custom training programs are also available on a time-and-materials basis and can be as simple as scheduling a 30-minute online "webinar."
