Differencing Tools Integration

Document Locator makes it easy to do side-by-side comparisons of documents to see where changes have occurred using integration with optional third-party differencing tools. The Diff Tools interface allows you to use third-party differencing or comparison software to compare versions of documents being managed by Document Locator.

Differencing results can be saved as a new document version complete with version notes. While saving, the Notifications feature can be activated to send a message advising others of the changes, and Document Approval can be set to request approval of the new document content.
