ColumbiaSoft Appoints New Vice President of
Worldwide Sales

David Pogue Enlisted to Build Upon Customer Satisfaction and Grow Revenues 

Portland, Ore. – Nov. 30, 2007 – ColumbiaSoft, a leading provider of enterprise-class Document Management solutions, announced that David Pogue has joined the company as vice president of worldwide sales. In this key position, Pogue will oversee ColumbiaSoft’s sales and professional services departments. 

“Among my main objectives are to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction by providing strong solutions for our customers’ document control processes” said Pogue. 

Pogue brings years of management experience driving all phases of business operations in the technology industry. He will focus his efforts around growing revenues, establishing a channel program for worldwide distribution, and developing a professional services-oriented approach that creates greater value for customers.  He is based in Portland, Ore. and reports directly to CEO Richard Day.

Prior to joining ColumbiaSoft, Pogue served as a business unit manager at Intel.  Additionally, he was the vice president of sales for SimpleAccess, a leading broadband security appliances and technology, virtual private networks and remote access equipment company.  Throughout his 25 year history in technology related fields, he’s held a multitude of management level roles.  Pogue earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston.  Previously he served as a board member and active principal of the Business Information Systems Training (BIST) Program with Goodwill Industries of Oregon – a program that trained people with disabilities for placement into the workforce.
