THE ROCKEFELLER GROUP SELECTS COLUMBIASOFT’S DOCUMENT LOCATOR FOR AFFORDABLE ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
The Rockefeller Group will enhance internal collaborations.New York, NY – October 31, 2006 – The Rockefeller Group selects Document Locator – ColumbiaSoft Corporation announced today that The Rockefeller Group has joined the growing list of customers using Document Locator®. The Rockefeller Group is a private corporation dedicated to excellence in commercial real estate, property management, and telecommunications services to commercial clients. The Rockefeller Group’s management and IT department selected Document Locator for its ease-of-use, flexibility, and comprehensive functionality.

The Rockefeller Group is using Document Locator to enhance collaboration among the five geographically distributed Rockefeller Group Development Corporation offices. Central functions such as Legal and Permitting are now able to securely collaborate with the regional offices on contracts, regulations, permits, project pro formas, status reports, and project designs. Previously, documents were shared using email and file servers, with resulting poor processes, organization, and security. Based on results to-date, Document Locator is significantly improving efficiency, reducing collaboration time, and enhancing security and compliance with business processes. In the future, the Development Corporation will be extending the use of Document Locator to collaborate with external design teams and to automate business processes using Document Locator workflow capabilities.
